中国卫星通信广播电视用户协会是唯一代表中国卫星通信广播电视用户的全国性非营利社团组织。遵照“推动中国卫星通信广播电视事业的发展，为全国卫星通信广播电视用户服务”的宗旨，广泛开展“技术交流咨询服务”的活动。有组织、有计划地在全国范围内开展介绍国内外先进的卫星通信广播电视技术，组织本行业用户迫切需要的科技活动，发挥协会在广大用户、政府机关、广大企事业单位、公司之间的桥梁纽带作用。用户协会通过开展的各项活动，在卫星通信广播电视行业中已产生了很大影响，树立了良好的信誉，同时也吸引了众多的国外公司参与我们的活动，大大促进了技术信息的交流与国际合作。
21世纪将是信息时代，我国卫星通信广播电视技术的发展和应用必将出现一个新的高潮。协会将一如既往地积极开展活动，努力作好协会的服务工作，真正体现协会在用户、政府及企事业之间的桥梁纽带作用。在我国加入WTO后的新国际环境中,为共创卫星通信广播电视事业的美好明天，做出应有的贡献。

President's Statement
China Users Association for Satellite Communications, Broadcasting & Television is a national non-profit community, which can solely represent China satellite communications, broadcasting & television users. With its goal of “pushing the cause of China satellite communications, broadcasting & television forward, serving for national satellite communications, broadcasting & television users”, it extensively provides “technical exchanges and consultant services”. It organically and designedly introduces domestic and overseas advanced technology of satellite communications, broadcasting & television, organizes scientific and technological activities urgently needed by users. It plays the role of a bridge and a link among users, government bodies, enterprises and institutions. The association has the great impact on satellite communications, broadcasting & television industry through its all kinds of activities. It has already gained good reputation, and at the same time, attract a lot of overseas companies to join us and greatly stimulate the exchanges of information technology and international cooperation.
21 Century will be an information era. The development and application of satellite communications, broadcasting & television technology in China will certainly reach a new high tide. The association will, as always, vigorously launch activities and make great efforts to do service work so as to embody the role of a bridge and a link of the association among users, government, enterprises and institutions. After China's entry in WTO in the new environment, the association will make a greater contribution to create a beautiful future for the satellite communications, broadcasting & television industry.
